What you’ll do

  • Monitoring and managing the workload of the team members, assigning tasks and prioritizing work to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Providing guidance and support as needed to ensure that engineers are able to perform their duties effectively.
  • Escalating any critical issues or incidents to senior management, and providing regular updates on the status of ongoing critical and P1 incidents (Shift Leader is responsible for owning the post-mortem process).
  • Providing and presenting reporting using IT and business KPIs of the applications in scope to the client and internally.
  • Collaborating with other shift leaders and team members to identify areas for improvement, and working to implement changes that can improve the team's performance and efficiency.

What we need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in IT operations or application support.
  • Basic experience with data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Bash and command-line tools.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of technical writing.
  • B2 or higher level of English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Clear and concise communication skills, capable of presenting information to both team members and management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in team environments.
